Timeline of blogs:

2003-2005: LiveJournal began the craze. At this time, everyone had a LJ, and you weren't cool if you didn't.

2004-2007: Xanga hit the mark with its new- and cooler- features than LiveJournal. Full migration began approx. 2004 1/2.

2006-2008: Myspace is the new thing. Not much of a blog, this site is more of a 'stay in touch' and shoutout board. Migration from xanga began probably around 2006.

2007-?: Facebook. Haven't been on it, but it looks boring compared to any of the others.

A blogging site that didn't quite make it:
Blogger.com. I was iffy about it, but since for a long while I didn't have internet, I had to get on at the library, which, by the way, blocked just about every blog site on the internet, save for blogger. I got one, but no one else was interested in moving to it.

Whether this timeline is true or not, it's based on my point of view. Personally, I liked Xanga a whole lot better, but when everyone started to move to Myspace, no one checked Xanga anymore, and in order to keep up with my friends, I had to move as well. Hell, I doubt any of you are even reading this right now!

Later!

Saturday, July 21, 2007

Well, I officially finished, epilogue and everything! (which in my opinion was overkill, but to each his own.) I finished it at precisely 10:28am, after beginning at about 1am after I got my copy at Waldenbooks. Of course my mom woke up last night often enough to ask, 'Is he dead yet?' and I did some backtracking, so that took up a bit of time.

Anyways, since I don't know how many of you have finished the book, and I don't know who all actually reads this anymore, I'm not gonna go into detail about how I felt about the book (except that I loved it!) 'cause I'm not sure if you've finished it or not.

In the words of Lemony Snicket,
'My friend once told me that a good book is like a life, with a beginning, a middle, and an end. I however, believe that a life is like a good book, which is well worth staying up the whole night to finish!"

or something along those lines!

Later,
Hannah
aka
Little Draculina

P.S. You can see a live streaming of the owners/runners of Mugglenet reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows right from mugglenet.com!

Check it out- it's hilarious. There's no sound, just video.

As Always,
Little Draculina

hey guys! long time no chat.

So what's the word hummingbird?

I don't have much time now, only that I'm glad to be back, even if it is dial-up. Xanga is way better than MySpace in my opinion btw.

So a quick update on the good points:

I got a job at R.T. Jones Library! Unfortunately I hafta quit soon 'cause I'm living in Alpharetta and it's too far to drive down to downtown Canton just for three hours two to four days a week! So I'm gonna apply Tuesday up at the Barnes&Noble, Alpharetta Library and/or the bookstore in the mall.

I got my SAT scores back- 1480! I sent them to North Georgia University, Oglethorpe University and Kennesaw. So far Oglethorpe's gotten back to me with an application to their school. Unfortunately it's 35,000 a year, but Hope will pay for that unless I get below a B average. Anyways, that's about it for now I guess.

as always,
Little Draculina
or
Hannah

P.S. I'm still as much into Star Trek as ever, but I've added a new favorite anime- Bleach!
P.S.S. The new layout will come later, when I'm not tying up the phone line! I'm getting sick of looking at the white screen and not knowing where to click without highlighting the page!

Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter- tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther…. And one fine morning-

"The dance?" He dismissed all the dances.....with a snap of his fingers. "Old sport, the dance is unimportant."

-The Great Gatsby
